TGC content — livestreams, clips, highlights, VODs, and any derivative content like compilations — belongs to ThatGuyPB. That said, the community sharing moments from the stream is part of what TGC is. This policy exists to make the line clear: personal sharing is encouraged, commercial exploitation is not.
When in doubt, just ask. Reach out on Discord or Twitter/X. The answer is usually yes with credit.
When sharing or re-posting TGC content, attribution should look something like this:
YouTube: @HHThatGuyPB · VODs: @ThatGuyPBVods
That's it. You don't need to write an essay — just make it clear where the content came from and give people a way to find the original.
If you're sharing on a platform that doesn't support links well (TikTok, Instagram Stories), including the name "ThatGuyPB" in text or on screen is enough.
ThatGuyPB streams sometimes include third-party music. If you clip or re-upload content that contains third-party music, you may receive copyright claims from the music rights holders — not from ThatGuyPB. That's between you and the rights holder.
ThatGuyPB is not responsible for any copyright strikes, content ID matches, or takedowns you receive as a result of re-uploading stream content that includes licensed music. If you're worried about this, mute audio during music sections before re-uploading.
For minor or accidental violations — a clip uploaded without credit, a compilation that got monetised by accident — a friendly DM is usually the first step. Fix it and move on.
For deliberate commercial exploitation, using content to misrepresent or harass, or repeated violations after being asked to stop, a DMCA takedown request or platform report may be filed.
TGC is a community built on good faith. This policy exists because it's needed, not because we're looking for people to go after. Operate in good faith and it won't be a problem.
To ask about a specific use case, request commercial permission, or report a violation:
Twitter / X: @ThatGuyPB
Discord: TGC server — use the appropriate channel or DM a mod.
Responses aren't guaranteed to be instant — the stream comes first — but genuine requests will get a response.
